Permainan berlangsung pada skuad tentara bayaran yang memulai misi berbahaya untuk membalas teman dan menyelamatkan dunia dari teroris berbahaya. Tim ini terdiri dari terkenal pahlawan dari dua film Expendables, yaitu Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Natal (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen atau (Dolph Lundgren). Aktor tidak meminjamkan suara untuk permainan, tetapi model karakter yang sangat mirip dengan mereka.
